Baked Kale Chips
April 21, 2022
Here is a low-calorie nutritious snack. Like potato chips, you cannot stop at just eating one. They are great for parties or comfort food for you.
Health Benefits: Kale is a superfood and an excellent source of fiber, antioxidants, vitamin A and calcium, as well as B vitamins, vitamin C and potassium.
Makes 1 Serving Bowl
Ingredients:
- 1 Bunch, Kale
- 2 tablespoons, Olive Oil
- Dash, Himalayan Seas Salt
- Dash, Garlic Powder
- Sprinkle, Ground Chili Peppers
- To Taste, Hot Sauce
- To Taste, Montreal Steak Spice
And unlike potato chips, kale retains its nutritional value when made into chips. It’s basically fat- and sodium-free — before we add the olive oil and dashes of salt flavouring to this recipe.
Directions Step 1 Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil. Step 2 Tear kale into bite-size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with Himalayan salt, garlic powder, ground chili peppers, hot sauce and Montreal steak sauce (all to taste). Step 3 Bake until the edges brown but not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
