IDHC’s Diabetes Wellness Workers promote diabetes awareness from an Indigenous perspective and assist Indigenous communities in identifying appropriate resources and services, planning, prevention and awareness strategies and coordinating community/regional programs and events based on community needs.

Diabetes Wellness Workers also provide information sessions, information booths, presentations, resources and workshops to communities as requested. To request a presentation or workshop, please complete our service request form.
