About Dianne Tomlinson
Dianne’s career in the field as an Early Childhood Educator started in 1971. Since then, she has worked in both Nursery School and Day Care Centres in classrooms and as director. She also worked for 17 years as a Resource Consultant in licensed programs for children with special needs. Her final 12 years in her career were dedicated to the Indigenous community at Niagara Regional Native Centre as the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program coordinator, and then as the EarlyON coordinator. Her passion of early literature continues on as she continues to present virtual Storytime and circle times for children. She officially retired on Feb 22, 2022, after 52 years of service, but is pleased to share with families and children whenever she can.
