Examples of a simple “555 Method”:
• 5 minutes of mindful walking outdoors: be patient and present in every
step and soak up the vital energy of the natural elements
• 5 minutes of mindful breathing: close your eyes or keep them open, sit
tall in a chair or lay down, breathe slowly and naturally
• 5 minutes of true relaxation for mind and body: use a guided relaxation audio or guide yourself by relaxing your body one part at a time, from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head. Be still.
Be quiet. Listen to the sound of your soft inhales and exhales
