Nurture good mental health everyday

Canadian Mental Health Association tells us May 2 to May 8, 2022 is mental health week.

  • Establish a support system; reach out to friends, family, your Doctor, an Elder, Counsellor, or other trusted support when times get challenging.
  • Self-reflect daily to monitor your holistic well-being (check in with self)
  • Ensure that you don’t take on too much at once; prevent exhaustion and burnout
  • Make time daily to do something you enjoy or love
  • Recognize and honour your emotions; channel challenging emotions in a positive and healthy way
  • Do simple things that bring you a true sense of fulfillment; choose activities that uplift your body, mind, spirit, and emotions
