Everything on Earth survives and thrives on the water around us. Dehydration is most common during the hot summer months, when people are doing activities outdoors and in the hot sun. Prevent dehydration by following these tips:

Don’t wait until you are thirsty to drink. Drink more fluids than usual when the weather is hot, especially when you are active
• Flavour your water
• Eat water-rich fruits and vegetables
• Stay inside when it gets too hot
• Dress for the weather
• Be aware of signs of dehydration
