A few strategies to ensure a clean-eating environment:
• Make the work place and community space a pop-free, juice-free, junk food- free, and candy-free environment; post signs!
• Have quick-grab healthy snacks accessible; for example, a basket of apples in the lobby or at reception
• Avoid fast food for programs or personal lunches; this is role-modelling healthier eating behaviours and food choices for clients and community
• Avoid processed, premade, prepackaged foods that lack nutritional quality
