Cedar Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of freshly picked cedar
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (optional)

Directions
Bring water to boil in a medium-sized pot. Once boiling add fresh cedar, maple syrup and cinnamon sticks. Boil for 10 minutes until you notice the water turning golden in colour.
Strain tea into a teapot or individual tea mugs. Take a deep breath and enjoy.
