Health Benefits: Compared to soft drinks infused water is naturally low in sugar, hydrating, low in calories and naturally refreshing.
- 1 small peach, peeled and chopped
- 3 tablespoons fresh blueberries
- juice from 1/4 of a lemon
- 1/4 cup chopped strawberries
- 4-5 basil leaves, torn
- 1 small piece seedless cucumber, chopped
- 8-10 mint leaves, torn
Directions: Before you begin, wash your ingredients thoroughly. Slice whole fruit or cucumbers as thinly as possible to expose more surface area to give your water maximum flavour.
Double or triple the ingredients to make a whole pitcher.
The water can be consumed right away or placed in the refrigerator to infuse for a few hours or overnight. Use more or less or any of the ingredients to suit your personal taste.
