Blood glucose is higher than normal, but not high enough to be diabetes.

A1C is usually between 6.0 and 6.4. This is a warning sign for diabetes and is the best time to make changes that can delay or even prevent the onset of diabetes.

Reduce weight by 10%, adopt a healthy diet, exercise/ walk 30 minutes five times per week (start with 5- 10 minutes).

Follow up with your family doctor or health care provider and see a foot specialist for a foot assessment.
